Use computer-aided design software to design products, create/test prototypes, and oversee other drafters. Applications used: AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design frameworks for a project.
  • Work with team members to develop, manufacture, and market a product.
  • Analyze, design, and build technical solutions to reach client’s needs.
  • Create detailed design documentation.
  • Estimate time and cost required to complete a project.
  • Code and test software.
  • Define, create, and maintain development methodologies, procedures, and standards.
  • Create drawings in 2 and 3-Dimensional form using CAD software.
  • Aid in selection of materials for the products.
  • Produce final design specifications.
  • Supervise team involved in project design.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • An associate’s degree or equivalent experience.

SUMMARY:

Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project. Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures. Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Perform a variety of tasks. Lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and within scope.
  • Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Assist in definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Manage changes to project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Proven working experience in project management

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

OPTIONAL SKILLS:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in manufacturing helpful but not required - we will train.
  • Familiarity with assembly tools and equipment.

SUMMARY:

We're seeking a brilliantly curious (or curiously brilliant?) candidate for our Sales Engineer role. This individual can capably understand all aspects of our technical product lines and creating value in the sales and services portion of our business by helping our team to deliver extra-ordinary, complete and effective solutions for our customers, new and existing. Their duties include consulting on/explaining product features to customers during live demonstrations, negotiating contract terms as part of the sales team, and providing insights and support to existing customers engaged with our services department.

We are looking for a seasoned, hardworking, smart and overachieving Sales Engineer with 3-5 years of experience and a passion for selling our manufactured products to engineers, procurement teams, and senior executives.

You will be responsible for working with the selling team to penetrate new prospects as well as farming back into existing customers to ensure high levels of customer success and satisfaction.

Measures of success include new customer acquisition/close rates, customer satisfaction and contribution to overall sales team and business success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serves customers by identifying their needs and engineering adaptations of products, equipment, and services.
  • Identifies current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and others in a position to understand service requirements.
  • Provides product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests internally and externally.
  • Prepares cost estimates by studying all related customer documents, consulting with engineers, architects, and other professional personnel.
  • Determines improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environment and engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services.
  • Gains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements.
  • Submits orders by conferring with technical support staff and costing engineering changes.
  • Develops customer’s staff by providing technical information and training.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation and anticipating future legislation.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed, recommending options and courses of action, and implementing directives.
