Buying from Bavis Fabacraft
Bavis’ goal is to get you the products you need, when you need them. Here’s how we work with you to get to “done”.
A typical customer purchase for major projects starts with a request for quote from you, the buyer. We’ll work with you to make sure the products you need for successful completion of your project are on the quote. Our management and engineering teams will then review the quote and we’ll send a finalized version to you for digital signature. (Note: please allow a minimum of 48 hours to quote small projects, and additional business days to quote more complex projects.)
Production Schedule
Once the customer has signed the quote, Bavis requires a 50% deposit in order to kick off the production process. When Bavis receives the deposit, our production team will get to work fabricating the quoted solutions.
When the production process is nearing completion, we will request payment for the balance of your quote. When the full balance is received and production is complete, your order will ship. Please note: Customer orders do not ship until the quote is paid in full, unless terms apply.
Shipping and Installation
In almost all cases, Bavis will ship the order to the installation site. It is important to note that Bavis does not employ, contract or sub-contract installation technicians. If you do need a technician to install Bavis products, your sales rep will assist you in finding an approved independent installation technician in your area.
The customer, the install tech and Bavis can then coordinate on timing of order delivery and Bavis will do its best to accommodate with our shipping partner. All installation fees and payments must be coordinated between the customer and the installation technician, unless additional terms with Bavis apply.
